It was a quiet noise
I heard
In the light darkness...

A single cry
Was heard somewhere
By nobody...

The dead woke the living
Hand to feet
They shouted silently
The blind deaf man
Told the lame dumb woman
That he was a witness
To the tale below above...

Nonsense it may seem
Sense it is pregnant with...

Such is our situation
In this confused world...

Help from whence cometh
We knoweth not.
Pray, pray, pray...
Answers it yieldeth not...

Curses abound
Supplications reduced
Progress we seek
Retrogression we get...

Which way forward?
I ask...
